Dorothy Victoria (Wallace) Powell passed from this life at her home in Tuttle, OK on November 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Dorothy was born on November 10, 1931 in Troy, OK to Marion Wallace and Mattie (Huffman) Patrick.

Dorothy was raised in Ardmore, OK. She married John Gentry in 1947. They moved to Laredo, TX, where they raised their family. They later moved to Corpus Christi, TX. Her husband, John, passed away in 1981. Dorothy married Charles Powell in 1986. They moved to Ardmore, OK in 2002. Dorothy's husband, Charles, passed away in 2013. She moved to Tuttle, OK in 2022.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Wallace and Mattie Patrick; her sister, Diane Armstrong; her husbands, John Gentry and Charles Powell; her grandson, Simon Beauford.

Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Paula Helbert (John) of Tuttle, OK; her son, Ron Gentry (Valerie) of Rockwall, TX; her son Mark Gentry of Sedro-Wolley, WA; her sisters, Sonya Slawson and Michelle Patrick; her brother, Bobby Wallace; her granddaughters, Marissa Johnson (Chris), Sarah Gentry, Hannah Gentry, Leigh Anne Gentry; grandson, Matthew Gentry; great-grandchildren, Atticus Johnson, David Johnson, Hayden Gentry, Malachi Gentry, Madilyn Seaholm, and Olivia Seaholm.

Cremation arrangements provided by Sevier Funeral Home in Tuttle, OK.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
