Donna Rae Ladd

Donna Rae Ladd, 72, of Chickasha, Oklahoma passed away on the 13th of March 2024 after a prolonged battle with cancer. She left us and returned to the open arms of her Heavenly Father.

Funeral Service for Donna will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:30a.m. at the chapel at Sevier Funeral Home in Chickasha, OK. The committal will follow the service at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Come and go viewing will be held Saturday 8:00a.m.-4:00p.m., Sunday 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m., and Monday 8:00a.m.-7:00p.m.

Donna was born the 16th of May in 1951 to Fred and Dorothy Corsaut of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family moved to Chickasha in her youth where she attended school and excelled in Basketball—never missing a year of competition or a single game. She was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan, as well as, a fan of all athletic programs of the University of Oklahoma. She was a member of Central Assembly of God Church of Chickasha for many years. Donna was a woman devoted to her faith, her family, and her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Donna met the true love of her life in Glenn Ladd while attending the 8th grade, and they have never been apart since. They married on the 11th day of October in 1969 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Their marriage produced a warm and wonderful family of four beloved children: Glenn Jr., Kimberly, Wendy, and Christopher. They made their home and raised their family here in Chickasha, where she loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Attending school and sporting events of her children and later, her grandchildren, gave her absolute joy to be there for them and to be a significant presence in their lives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Dorothy Corsaut; her sister, Debbie Buchannan; and her son, Glenn Ladd, Jr.

Donna is survived by her husband of 54 years, Glenn Ladd, Sr.; daughter, Kim Logsdon of Norman, OK; daughter, Wendy and spouse Chelsea Unangst of Sulphur, OK; son, Chris Ladd of Chickasha, OK; grandchildren: Kaycee, Ayme & Blayke Logsdon, Brayden Fannon, Tayden Unangst, Jordyn Stinger, Nate Tucker & Madyson Ladd; great grandchildren: Kayden, Ash-lynn, Keigyn, Addison, Alexa, Rueben, Paxton, Oaklyn, Finley, Jayden, Olivia and Ayden; brother, David Corsaut; and extended family members, Sami Moran and children, Heather Stinger and children, and Treven Smith and children.
