Donna Irene Armstrong-Mcbride

Donna Irene Armstrong-McBride, of El Reno, Oklahoma, passed away on July 12, 2023.

Donna was born in Oklahoma City to James Cowan and Jessie Duffey on September 20, 1959. Donna loved hard and had many passions including her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her lifelong love Wayne, three incredible sons, and her precious German Shepherd - Brady.

Donna is preceded in death by her father James Cowan, mother Jessie Duffey, and step-father Carroll Duffey.

Donna is survived by her lifelong love Wayne McBride of Tuttle, Oklahoma, sons and daughter-in-laws Dustin & Wensdae Armstrong of Mustang, Oklahoma, Cory Armstrong & Madalyne Pierce of Union City, Oklahoma, and Colton Armstrong & Brieanna Etchieson of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; sister and brother-in-law Debra & Gary Scarberry of Oklahoma City; brother and sister-in-law Calvin Duffey & Karen Stone of Mustang, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren Caleb Armstrong, Sabrie Locke, Braydon Armstrong, Payslie Locke, Ava Peña, Scarlett Armstrong, & Laken Armstrong; many nephews and a niece as well as countless friends.

Donna sought out her Western Lifestyle, always stopped to smell the roses, and never turned down a phone call to enjoy a long chat. She will be most remembered for her kindness to those less fortunate and/or simply needing a sympathetic ear or prayers.

To our Heavenly Angel Donna: We will miss you and most importantly, we are so happy you are no longer in pain, dancing with the angels, and singing in HIS Heavenly Choir.
