Donald Dean Lair

Family and friend's visitation will be held at Sevier Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 4-6 pm, and Graveside Service with interment to be at Celestial Gardens in Cyril, Oklahoma, Caddo County on Friday, May 13, 2022, at 1 pm under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Donald Dean Lair passed away at the age of 90 years on May 8, 2022, at his home in Frisco, TX. Don moved to Frisco in 1997 where he operated a farm and raised cattle on his farm near Commerce, Tx.

Don attended Verden, Oklahoma Public Schools where he graduated in 1949. He attended Carnegie Junior College where he played basketball. Donald joined the Navy during the Korean War in 1950. He was honorably discharged in 1951 upon the death of his father Kermit Roosevelt (Ted) Lair so he could return to the farm near Anadarko, Oklahoma, and help with the family farm operation.

In 1953 he married Marilyn Heavin in Verden, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife of the home in Frisco, Texas, Marilyn Lair, two children, Ted Dean Lair and Kimberly Ann Goss of Frisco, Texas, and one grandchild Caroline Goss of Frisco, Texas.

Donald and Marilyn Lair attended Chickasha First Baptist Church for many years until moving to Texas in 1997. They currently are members of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas.

Don also operated a Trucking Business in Chickasha, Oklahoma for several years.
