Funeral service for Dixie Carol Cobb will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at College Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be held at Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Dixie Carol Cobb passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 18, 2024, at the age of 94. Dixie was born on March 11, 1930, to Wesley Carol and Bonnie Dixie (Barnes) Williams in Mangum, OK.

Dixie Carol Cobb lived in Mangum, OK until she married Elzy Lee Tyler in 1946. They moved to Wichita Falls, TX, and then to Duncan, OK. In 1954, Dixie married Francis E. Cobb and resided in Duncan, OK, where they started Sooner Horse Trailer Manufacturing. She worked alongside Francis to get their business started and continued to help him until they sold it. She was a homemaker and took pride in keeping her home immaculate.

She is preceded in death by Elzy Lee Tyler; Frances E. Cobb; her brother Selwyn Williams; her parents, Wesley Carol Williams and Bonnie Dixie (Barnes) Williams.

She is survived by her only daughter, Diane Gregg and her husband, Richard Gregg of Chickasha, OK; her grandchildren, Terry Morgan of Chickasha, OK, Deana and Tony Tuthill of Chickasha, OK, Derrick and Courtney Zoll of Chickasha, OK, Richard and Drenda Cobb and Jimmy Cobb of Duncan, OK; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Dixie belonged to the Red Hatters and enjoyed playing cards and games with her friends and family.
