DeWayne Zeiset, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born May 20, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Daniel and Zelda (Unruh) Zeiset.
He married at the age of 20 to Betty (Meeks) Zeiset on May 28, 1962. They had two children, Perry and Polly. He was a hard worker and retired from Braum's in 1995. There he pursued his dream to raise cattle and to have his family near him. For 15+ years DeWayne and Betty's grandchildren were raised just down the road from them.
In his later years, Dewayne enjoyed getting together with family and listening to his nieces and nephews sing old hymns. His favorite pass time was dominoes after dinner with his children and grandchildren. In his last year he came to trust in the Lord with his salvation and was accepted into the Mennonite church. His last day he was surrounded by family and his last breath was in prayer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Zelda Zeiset and a sister, Twila Zeiset.

His son, Perry Zeiset and wife, Karen;
His daughter, Polly Choate and husband, Warren;
Grandchildren: Jonathan Zeiset and wife, Whitney; Carissa Thompson and husband, Shane; Noah Zeiset; Abigal Choate, Aryn Choate and Benjamin Choate;
Great grandsons: Karrson Zeiset and Robert Zeiset;
Brothers and sisters: Carolyn and Roger Schmidt; Samuel and Christine Zeiset; Paul Zeiset, David and Shirlene Zeiset; Gayland and Susan Zeiset; and Amy and Walter Ruth;
and many nieces and nephews.
