Delmer A. Conder

Private graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2020 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Delmer A. Conder, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home in Chickasha at the age of 97.  He was born March 25, 1923 in Cloudy, Oklahoma to Charlie and Mary (Wheeler) Conder.

In 1947, Delmer started Haynes-Conder Used Cars in Oklahoma City.  He later came to Chickasha and started Haynes-Conder Motors which he owned and operated and later in the 1950's it became Conder Motors.  Delmer had been in used car dealers for 73 years.

He served in the United States Army as an MP from 1943 to 1946 in Africa.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Conder, his second wife, Ruby Conder and his third wife, Lila Dickey Conder; and a son Larry "Flea" Conder.

Delmer is survived by his daughters:  Delma Dee Threadgill and her husband Scotty; and Phyllis Jones;

Grandchildren: Larry Threadgill, James Threadgill, Charlotte Weaver and Kim Isaken;

Great grandchildren:  Ryan Isaken, Kylie Isaken, Savannah Threadgill, Bailey Threadgill, Chandler Threadgill and Skylar Conder;

His twin brother, Elmer Conder and his wife, Julia;

And his Sister, Margrette Alexander.
