David Aaron Sterling passed from this life on December 1, 2025 at the age of 47. He was born on July 26, 1978 in Chickasha, OK to David Jones and Mentha Sterling Jones.

David Aaron Jones Sterling was born on July 26, 1978 in Chickasha, OK. He grew up and attended school in Chickasha. He had three sons, Arthur Sterling, Nathaniel Sterling, and Johnny Sterling who loved him dearly. He was called Uncky by all his nieces and nephews. He always enjoyed mowing his lawn and working outside. He had a goofy side to him and was always fun to be around. David lived in Chickasha for most of his life.

He will be dearly missed by his family.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny Sterling and Mary Machalske, Ilga Jones & Vaughn Jones; his parents, David Jones and Mentha Jones.

Loved ones left to remember him include his sons, Arthur, Nathaniel, and Johnny Sterling; his sisters, Robbin Archer, Rebecca Bordwine, and Amber Dodd; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at Full Gospel Church on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
