David W. Malone, 70, of Chickasha, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home. The son of Murrel and Katie Malone, he was born January 24, 1951 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

David grew up and attended Chickasha schools. He was a carpenter, painter and welder by trade. David loved his family.  Fishing was his favorite hobby – when he wasn't fishing he was thinking about fishing and when he wasn't thinking about fishing he was telling fish stories.

David is survived by his wife Lois of 51 years, son Tim Malone, daughter Tamara Nunnelley and her husband Shane; granddaughter Megan Drennan and husband Brandon and great grandson Benjamin; one brother John Malone and his wife Regina; three sisters, Jean Ross, Karen Arters and her husband Danny, Evelyn Bridges and Shorty and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Mamie Malone and Betty Christian; and four brothers: Sammy, Daniel, Leon and Bobby Malone.

Memorial service to be held at a later date.
