Darrell Bennett

Darrell Bennett passed away on July 23, 2024, at home in Chickasha, at the age of 69. He was born to Perry and Lenora (Hill) Bennett on February 13, 1955, in Chickasha, OK.

Darrell was born and raised in Chickasha, OK. He went into the Oilfield shortly after school for several years. He then met his wife, Stella McKune in 1979 and had a son, Joshua in 1987, and daughter, Alicia in 1990. After the birth of his children, he went on to be a maintenance technician for the remainder of his life until he retired in 2016. After his retirement, he went on to be the caretaker of his mother until his passing. He was a loving father and adored his seven grandchildren, they knew he was always waiting with a cold pop for them. He will be missed deeply.

He is preceded in death by his father, Perry Bennett, and two brothers, Allen Bennett, and James Bennett; nephew, Allen Bennett Jr.; and great-nephew, Michael Bennett.

Darrell is survived by his mother, Lenora Bennett; son, Joshua Bennett and wife, Janie; daughter, Alicia Fiske and husband, Dylan; grandchildren, Ashtyn, Paetyn, Kinsley, Jett, Anakin, Tripp, and Maeve; his beloved Belgian Malinois, Sasha; sisters, Brenda Smith and husband, Steve, Mary Story, and Fern Bennett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and family.

Cremation services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
