Danny Edd Meyers passed from this life on August 3, 2026 in Norman, OK at the age of 80. He was born on September 10, 1945 in Minco, OK to Thomas Meyers and Joyce (Jester) Meyers.

Funeral service for Danny Edd Meyers will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Hazel Dell Baptist Church in Minco, OK. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Danny was the youngest of eight children. He grew up in Minco and graduated from Minco High School. Danny worked in various fields including at Wilson Foods, as a Machinist, and a Farmer and Rancher.

Danny always enjoyed the great outdoors through many years of hunting.

He is preceded in death by wife, Betty L. Meyers; his son, Eddie Jo Meyers; his parents, Thomas E. Meyers and Joyce D. (Jester) Meyers; and his brothers: James Robert Goodman, Robert E. Halverson, Thomas A. Meyers; his sisters: Dora E. Stone, Anna May Holland, Judy B. Hawkins.

Danny is survived by his sons, Danny Meyers II, of Tuttle, OK, Larry Eaton of Newcastle, OK; his sister, Freddie Jo Lane of Idaho; his two grandchildren, Stephanie Eaton of Oklahoma City, OK and Jesse Eaton of Newcastle, OK.
