Cleta Faye Haney

Mrs. Haney will be laying in state at Sevier Funeral Home in Chickasha, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then will be laying in state at Sevier Funeral Home in Tuttle, Sunday and Monday. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial donations be made to 9th and Colorado Church of Christ, P.O. Box 447, Chickasha ,OK  73023.

Cleta Faye Haney of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 91.  She was born August 1, 1927 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Charlie Franklin and Agnes (Savage) Smith.

She married Kelley Harmon Haney on November 28, 1946 in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Haney was a member of the 9 ^th and Colorado Church of Christ Church and was baptized in 1940.  She was a true and loving, caring Christian woman.  She saw needs and took care of them.  She accepted whatever life brought to her and never complained.

Mrs. Haney worked at the Tuttle Care Center and received her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse graduated from El Reno Nursing School.  She also worked in Chickasha at Shanoan Springs Nursing Residence Center before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kelley Harmon Haney on January 2, 1982; her parents;

Son, Thomas Haney; daughter, Evelyn Haney; and 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

Mrs. Haney is survived by her children:  Janie Miracle and her husband, Larry;

Phillip Haney;

and Ronnie Haney and his wife, Janice;

9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren;

Her brother, Herbert Smith of Texas;

And several nieces, nephews and friends.
