Funeral Service will be held on March 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Mustang. With committal at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Cledia Marie (Fenimore) Rakestraw was born on October 4, 1928, to Tony and Ima (Clark) Fenimore in Grady, OK. She passed away on March 25, 2023, in Yukon, OK.
Cledia played basketball during her school years and was quite good. She played softball as well. She graduated in a class of 9 people from Middleburg High School. She was the oldest of 8 children. She met Perry while attending church with her cousin. They married in March of 1950. They raised their family in Oklahoma City and Tuttle. They moved to Mustang in 1999. She was an avid churchgoer and raised her family in the church. Cledia was known to be quite the social butterfly with her ladies in the neighborhood. She was a big Thunder basketball fan. She loved her flower garden.
She is preceded in death by her husband Perry Lee Rakestraw; her son Perry Clyde Rakestraw; her daughters Nancy Burchfield and Sharon Winchester; her brothers Jack Fenimore, W.M. Fenimore, and Barty Fenimore and sister Glenda Faye Roddy; her granddaughter Lyndse Rakestraw; her great-granddaughter Phoebe Beitia.
She is survived by her sons Darrell Rakestraw and partner Lana Seawright, Tony Rakestraw, Dan, and wife Donna Rakestraw; her daughter Ima and husband Paul Greenfield; Son-in-laws Randy Burchfield and James (Robbie) Winchester; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; her brothers Floyd and wife Kay Fenimore, Melvin and wife Glenda Sue Fenimore, Elbert Fenimore.
