Clarence Hayes Jr.

Clarence Robert Hayes Jr., 70, was born January 14, 1952, in Pittsburg, Texas to Clarence Robert Sr. and Bobbie (Thomas) Hayes. He passed away on January 30, 2023, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Clarence moved around his whole childhood and graduated high school in Texas. He joined the Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. After the Army he returned to Texas and married Gloria Dahlgren and to this union they had two children, Keith, and Natasha. He worked for Compact Computers for several years in Houston, Texas. Then moved to Mt. Pleasant for a few years before heading out to San Diego for odd jobs. He then moved back to Texas one more time before settling in Chickasha with his daughter where he remained until his passing.

Clarence was a man of many interests. He loved NFL football, playing computer games, reading Lord of the Rings, and watching Star Wars. He was an avid science fiction and fantasy aficionado.

He is preceded in death by his father Clarence Hayes Sr.; and his brother James Hayes.

He is survived by his son Keith Hayes and wife Michelle of Austin, TX; his daughter Natasha (Hayes) Brewster and husband J.R. of Chickasha, OK; his mother Bobbie Hayes; his brother Dennis Hayes; his sister Brenda Hayes; as well as several nieces and nephews.
