Cindy Sue Brand

Cindy Sue Brand passed from this life unexpectedly on Wednesday November 4, 2020 in Alex, Oklahoma at the age of 62.  She was born on May 5, 1958 to Robin "Bob" Brand & Peggy (Story) Brand, and later graduated from Alex High School.

Cindy married twice, and while not having children of her own, she showered her nephews, great nieces and children of cousins and close friends with unwavering love and endless generosity for which earned her the title by all as, Aunt Cindy.

After graduating school, she worked alongside her father, Bob in R & L Rental Tool which he'd co-founded with his brother L.B. "Pete" Brand.  After leaving R & L, she began working in the education system for many years beginning at USAO in Chickasha, Oklahoma and most recently in what she referred to as her "dream job" as the Executive Assistant in the Superintendent's office at Alex Public Schools.

Cindy lived life in vivid color explaining her passion to stay abreast of latest fashion trends in an effort to always look nice.  She also took great pride in the remodel and preservation of the family's farmhouse where she'd lived for many years.  Her projects there were many and the design and appearance of her home was guaranteed to always be ever-changing!

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, and she's survived by her brother, Bobby and his wife Zana of Oklahoma City and nephews Dustin Brand of Oklahoma City and Shannon Brand and his wife Johanna of Moore and nieces She-Ann Brand and Sylvie Brand both of Stillwater, Oklahoma.  Also surviving Cindy is her beloved cat, Scooby whom she's entrusted his ongoing care to loving cousins, Henry Brand & Bennett Brand of Alex, Oklahoma.

Viewing is scheduled for Friday November 6, 2020 at the Sevier Funder Home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  An outdoor memorial service is planned for Saturday November 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Alex Cemetery in Alex, Oklahoma, which will be officiated by Dr. Keith Weldon.  Family will also gather after the memorial service at the family farmhouse where Cindy lived.
