Dr. Charlotte J. Hinson

Dr. Charlotte June Hinson passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 89.  Dr. Hinson was born July 21, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Gervais and Ethel (White) Welch.

She received her doctorate at the University of Oklahoma in 1981 and taught at Arkansas State-Jonesboro.  After she retired she moved to Chickasha.

She is survived by her son, Robin Hinson and his wife, Angie;

Grandson, Matthew Edmond Hinson;

3 brothers: Richard Welch, Gene Welch and Walt Welch;

Sister, Jane Swalley

And nieces:  Debra Keener, Barbara Welch, Dedra Welch, Sabra Bischop and Sherri Messer
