Carolyn Sue King

Carolyn Sue King, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at home in Chickasha at the age of 68.  She was born July 4, 1950 in Enid, Oklahoma to Oliver and Donna (Stout) Sample.

Carolyn was raised in Enid and in 1963 she and her family moved to Chickasha where she graduated from Chickasha High School.  She married Harold King in 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2004.

She worked for American Optical of Chickasha for over 40 years before retiring.  She had served as Madam President and Vice President at the Chickasha Eagle Lodge.

She is also preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Braden Kinnamon.

Carolyn is survived by her children:  BeDonna Knowles, Tena Jordan, Candace Tate, Wendy King and Eddie King;

9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

Sisters:  Peggy Riley and Tarri Carpenter;

Brother, Robert Sample;

And Special friends Pokey, Paul Batchelder, Tina & Howard Donley and Mia Smith and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
