Carmen Nieto Austin

Carmen Nieto Austin , of Chickasha, OK passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Chickasha at the age of 81.  She was born July 16, 1936 in Verden, Oklahoma to Panfilo and Mary Elizabeth (Chaires) Nieto.

She married Willard "Bill" Lee Austin on January 17, 1953 in Anadarko, OK.  Carmen had worked and retired from Grady Memorial Hospital as the PBX Operator.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Austin; a son, Donald Raye Austin; sisters: Mildred Miller, Mary Torres, Joyce Smith and Juanita Nieto; brothers:  Jessie, Joe, David and Sam Nieto.

Carmen is survived by her sister, Stella Smith of Chickasha, OK;

Children:  Rhonda Joyce Garza and husband, Lorenzo;
Michael Lee Austin and wife, Julie;
Cheryl Janette Austin, all of Chickasha, OK;

Grandchildren: Jonathan Fisher and wife, Tauna; Michelle Byfield, Patricia Dawn Austin, Marci Reed, Lisa Austin and Madison Austin all of Chickasha, OK;

And multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
