Carl Douglas Schnider

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel in Tuttle, OK, located at 105 W. Main St. The interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Carl Douglas Schnider, 67 of Tuttle OK, went home with Jesus on May 22, 2023 after a long fulfilling life.

"Doug" was born on October 31, 1955 to William and Wilma (Tarkington) Schnider in Oklahoma City, OK.

After "Doug" graduated from Grant High in Oklahoma City, OK in 1972, He quickly found himself in the United States Marine Corps.

When returning home he started a job at Tinker Air Force Base as an Aircraft Painter, then led to a job at Love Field in Fort Worth TX. The passion for painting had sparked for a lifetime. He then became a self-contracted house painter which led to a successful business that was life-changing for many. He was a man of many talents.

In 1994, Doug met Corinne Spear in Texas. Doug and Corinne married in 2000 which led to a lifetime of love and patience.

In 2001, Doug retired and spent his time fishing, hunting, wood crafting and canvas painting. He loved hotrods, and Doug took great pride in his 1967 Chevy pickup; it will now be passed on to his son Keith Ellis who will take over the great pride.

He is preceded in death by his Father, William Lee Schnider; Mother, Wilma Joyce Tartkington, Stepfather Pete Mccoy; Brothers, Kyle Schnider and Andrew Schnider; Son, John Paredez.

He is survived by his

Sister, Kathy Johnston of Mustang OK;

5 Children: Son, Keith Ellis and wife Cassidy Of Cogar OK;  Daughter, Sara Schnider of Oklahoma City OK; Son, Chris Paredez and wife Summer of Burleson TX; Daughter, Stephanie Paredez and fiance Kevin R of Del City OK; Daughter, Amanda Paredez and fiancé Kevin M, of Lexington SC.

11 Grandchildren: Alicia Paredez and significant other Zachary; Samuel Salomon and wife Kirsten; Stephanie Salomon; Angelina Salomon; Noah Paredez; Anthony Taylor; Autumn Salomon; Ashtyn Paredez; Archer Hollingworth-Gillett; Ella Ellis; Elic Ellis.

3 Great-Grandchildren: Kainan Harris; Skylar Salomon; Stratson Brunson;    1 Expecting Great-Grandchild Jayce Green;

Two Nieces, Andreana Colley and Krystal Loyd; one Nephew Jayce Schnider and wife Georganna of El Reno OK.
