Brenda Lee Brooks

Brenda Lee Brooks was born June 7, 1960 in Oklahoma City, OK.  She was the daughter of Floyd and Clara (Bible) Kirkland.  She died Friday, September 9, 2016 in Chickasha, OK at the age of 56.

Brenda had lived in the Chickasha area all of her life.  She was formerly employed at Grady Memorial Hospital.  She later worked for Ross Hospice for eight years.  She has been working for Faith Hospice the last couple of years.

She is preceded in death by her mother Clara Kirkland; sister, Linda Smith; grandparents, Clyde Kirkland, Virgie Stephenson and Iva Miller and her mother-in-law, Lois Brooks.

Survivors include: her husband, James (Jimmy) Brooks;

Seven sons: Chris Lessig and wife, Amy; Matt Lessig and wife, Amy;
Daniel Brooks and girlfriend,Ashlee; Darren Brooks, Mathew Brooks, Dylan Brooks
and Anthony Brooks;

Three brothers:  Carl and Tammy Kirkland; Cecil Kirkland and Donald and Krystal Kirkland;

Her father, Floyd Kirkland;

Two sisters and their husbands: Arleen and Frank Schrist and Kay and Mike Baker

Eight grandchildren.
