Bobby "Bob" Lee Shipley, 72, died Friday, August 14, 2015 in Grapevine, TX. He was born Octoer 4, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK to Bobby Eugene and Edna Pauline (Stinchcomb) Shipley. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandy; his three daughters and their husbands: Susan and Craig Haney, Ginger and Tony Dowling, and Janet and Ryan Martin; and his nine grandchildren and their spouses: Chris and Andrea Haney, Casey and Erick Schuldt, SSgt Michael and Michelle Haney, Jennifer Dowling, Jesse Dowling, Kaley and Austin King, Emily Martin, Rylee Martin, and Jacob Martin; five great-grandchildren: Chloe Dowling, Samuel Haney, Keaton Smith, Sophia Haney, and Amelia Haney; and many great friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Pauline Shipley, and grandson, Brandon Haney. Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Bob was a graduate of NW Classen High School, class of 1960. He attended Central State University of Edmond, OK. Bob and Sandy lived and raised their children in Tuttle, OK while Bob worked in sales and management until starting his own custom home building business, Shipley Homes. He enjoyed playing golf with friends, was passionate about his country, but loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids most of all.
