Blake Lane Conner

Blake Lane Conner passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, in his home at Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 59. Blake was born August 26, 1964, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Billy Ray Conner and Beverly Joyce (Trammel) Conner.

Blake was raised in Tuttle, Oklahoma. He attended Tuttle Public Schools and played football for Tuttle High School. After graduating from Tuttle High School, Blake worked at several jobs before finding his calling as a Framing Carpenter in Construction. Carpentry was a passion of his throughout his life.

He enjoyed riding the family horses and hunting deer. As a youngster, he would sneak over to his neighbor's pond to go fishing. He and his two sons enjoyed video games where they were teamed up against others. Blake was an avid reader and his favorite author was Louis Lamour. Blake would write stories and poems in his down-time when he was on the road. He enjoyed an evening cigar while reading after dinner. His true passion was helping others in their struggles.

He is preceded in death by his brother, John Conner.

Blake's loved ones to remember him by include his parents, Billy Ray Conner and Beverly Joyce Conner; his wife, Joyce Holcroft Conner; his son Jeremy Files and wife Lynette of Sahuarta, AZ; his daughter Kayleen Miller and husband Carl of Bridgecreek, OK; his daughter Stephanie Conner of Oklahoma City OK; his son Kevin Conner and wife Lacey of Salt Lake City, UT; his step daughter Jessica Martin of Oxford, NC; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Holcroft of Seminole, OK; his step daughter Lilly Ratclif of Elm City, NC; his grandchildren, Tiernan Conner, Clarissa Files, Ali Conner, and Blake Files; his step-grandchildren, Ryan Martin, Riley Martin, Colt Wilson, and Bailey Wilson; his sister, Anita Conner Hames-McCraw of Tuttle, OK and her children, Katie Bromlow and Lindsey Hames; his brother, Arnold Conner and wife Cindy of Lexington, OK and  their children, Marcy Diossi, Misty Collinsworth, Mandy Sermino, and Megan Conner; his sister-in-law, Laura Conner (late husband, John Conner) of Tuttle, OK and their children, Brian Conner, Kristen Conner Clement, and Daniel Conner; special cousins, Greg Conner and wife Dr. Keri Conner and Jackson Conner their son; and many other special family members.

Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. At the family's request there is no funeral or memorial service at this time.
