Billy Bob Murr was born July 8, 1929 in Kingston, Oklahoma. He was the son of Sam and Daisy (Davis) Murr. He died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Tuttle, Oklahoma at the age of 86.
He and Sue Marshall were married in Sherman, Texas on January 24, 1948.
Mr. Murr lived around Tuttle most of his life. He did evangelical work with his brothers, Mike and Paul Murr. He later pastored numerous churches, finishing at Liberty Christian Church for 31 years. He was a police officer at Wetumka, Oklahoma City, where he was in the Motorcycle and Patrol Division, and then Tuttle, where he was Police Chief. He had also served as Assistant Chief at Kingston.
He was a member of Liberty Christian Fellowship, Oklahoma Sheriffs Association and the Association of Police Chiefs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Paul; two sisters, Lola and Martha;
and a grandson, Jeremy Logan.
Mr. Murr is survived by his wife, Sue Murr;

6 daughters: Faith, Bodie, Cindy, Teresa, Cindy and Diane;

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.
