Bill Nunley

Funeral service for Bill Nunley, of Chickasha, OK will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Cornerstone Church in Chickasha. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Church, P.O. Box 1381, Chickasha, OK 73023. Bill Nunley was born September 20, 1931 in Sterling, Oklahoma to William Henry and Goldie Dallean (Griffith) Nunley. He passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Chickasha, OK at the age of 83. Bill married Betty White on December 24, 1951. They came to Chickasha in 1971 where they have made their home since. Bill served as minister for Nowata Gardens and Shannon Springs Nursing Home for many years. He and Betty organized the Soup Kitchen and pastored the Cornerstone Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Mark Nunley in 1998. Bill is survived by his wife, Betty Nunley A son, Steve Nunley and A daughter, Cindy Yancey 2 grandchildren: Brandy White and Brant Yancey and 4 great grandchildren: Mercedes Laura, Boston Laura, Caleb White and Olivia Yancey Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
