Bill Wooley, Jr.

William "Bill" Walton Wooley, Jr., of Chickasha, Ok, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the age of 93.  He was born November 15, 1925 in Birmingham, Alabama to William Walton and Mamie (Huffman) Wooley.

Bill served in the U.S. Army in communications during WWII, Korea and Vietnam wars.  After retiring from the Army he was a school teacher for the home bound.

He married Betty Townsend in November of 2015 and moved to Chickasha at that time.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Rose Wooley of February 12, 2012.

Bill is survived by his wife, Betty Wooley;

2 sons:  William Lee "Billy" Wooley;

James Walton Wooley and his wife, Carla;

Grandchildren: Shaenna Thomas, Zachary Thomas and Wesley Thomas;

Stepchildren:  Cynthia Stanley, Kenneth Davis, Karen Woo, Sarah Simpson, Charles Davis, and Mary Davis.
