Funeral service for Betty (Townsend) Davis Langston Wooley will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel at Sevier Funeral Home in Chickasha, OK. A private family burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Betty Ann Townsend Davis Langston Wooley passed from this life on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Guthrie, OK at the age of 94. She was born on August 12, 1931 in Wynnewood, OK to James Presley Townsend and Velma Grace (Long) Townsend.

Betty worked as a nurse for more than 50 years. Betty was a registered nurse for over 70 years and proudly held a current nursing license when she passed. Betty was an active member of First Baptist Church in Chickasha, OK. At First Baptist, she taught Girls in Action "G.A.s" for many years. Betty went on mission trips to Mexico, Russia, Nicaragua and Brazil. Betty always wore one of her lovely hats every Sunday to church. She loved to sew. She was very generous and hospitable. Betty found summer homes for the children from the Baptist children's home in Oklahoma City. Betty loved to play hand and foot with family and friends. She recently wrote a book called "Don't Send Yourself To Hell" in January 2023. Her son Stanley helped her write it. It is described as a compassionate 91 year old nurse's story to help anyone not pass up the kingdom of heaven and find themselves in hell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Davis, Jr. M.D. who passed on May 13, 1989; her son, Stan Davis, who passed on February 3, 2024; her husbands, Henry Langston and Bill Wooley; her sisters Rachel Rogers, Becky McCracken, and Margaret Beal; her brother, Charles Townsend.

Betty is survived by her loving children: Cynthia Cavin of Jenks, OK, Ken Davis and wife Karla of Tulsa, OK, Karen Woo and husband Van of Jenks, OK, Sarah Simpson and husband Shelley of Lubbock, TX, Charles Davis and wife Kim of Haltom City, TX, and Mary Pinto and husband Todd of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren: Autumn Fowlkes, Jenny Shupert, Spencer Cavin, Kristen Davis, Matthew Woo, Christian Woo, Rebekah Goorabian, Nicholas Woo, Natasha Simpson, Nat Simpson, Tyler Davis, Maddy Cross, Brody Pinto, Harrison Pinto, and Scarlett Pinto; great grandchildren: Tavish Fowlkes, Ian Fowlkes, Carter Shupert, Sophia Shupert, Liam Cavin, Rowan Cavin, Marne Cavin, Ewan Cavin, and Lucy May Goorabian; her brothers, Press Townsend and James Townsend.
