Betty Spies

Betty Ruth Spies was born April 12, 1935 in Tabler, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of George and Rosella (Elders) Busby. She died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Chickasha at the age of 80 years. She graduated from Chickasha High School and attended the Oklahoma College for Women. She had worked for Ross Seed, the Tag Agency and later at the Grady County Treasurers office. She and Gaylon Spies were married April 6, 1956 in Chickasha. He preceded her in death December 3, 1975. Her kinfant son Larry Gaylon Spies, Jr. also preceded her in death. Survivors include: 2 sons, Chris Spies and Steve Spies and his wife Tammy A brother, Mickey Busby A sister, Frankie Greaves and A grandson, Cole Spies
