Betty Scott

Betty Ruth Cheatwood Scott, of Blanchard, OK, was born May 20, 1941 in Chickasha, OK to Hugh, and Mary Cheatwood.  She passed away March 4, 2019 in Blanchard, Ok.at the age of 77 years.

Betty lived most of her life in the Amber area where she graduated in 1959, and married Vernon Scott.

Betty worked 30 years at Grady Memorial Hospital as a medical transcriptionist.

She was preceded in death by her daddy Hugh Cheatwood, and mother Mary Cheatwood.

Betty is survived by her daughter Mary Hughrene Taylor, and husband Johnny of Blanchard.

One son James Michael Scott, and wife Sheila of Tuttle.

5 grandchildren Brandon Scott, and wife Brianna of Guthrie;

Melissa Meadows, and husband Kevin of Shenandoah, VA.;

Colby Scott of Tuttle;

Jonthan Taylor, and wife Rachel of Blanchard; and Dawson Nix of Cashion.

5 great-grandchildren, Ambree Meadows, Blaine Taylor, Colton Meadows, Alyssa Taylor, Conley Scott, and Tucker Taylor.

Numerous loved ones, and friends.

She enjoyed visiting family, reading, music, and working crossword puzzles.

Her most important thing in life was her Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ.

Next was her family who meant the world to her.
