Betty Jo Porter

Betty Jo Porter, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at her home near Chickasha at the age of 93.  She was born April 4, 1927 in Granite, Oklahoma to Herman and Beryl (Webber) Smith.

Betty married Charles Porter on November 13, 1943.  She and Charles farmed and ranched in the Chickasha area for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Charles in 2005.

Betty is survived by her children: Charlene Cantrell, Linda Robbins, Sue Beck, Melissa Brownen and Chuck Porter;

15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren;

and a brother, Darrell "Bub" Smith.

Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK.
