Beth Ann Anderson Obituary

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Alex High School, Alex Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Beth Ann Whitt Anderson was born to her parents Jim and Patsy on November 16, 1957, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She passed away, on Friday, May 13, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 64.

Beth grew up in Lindsay with her siblings Jimmy, Jana, and Joe. She graduated high school from Lindsay in 1976 and gained a stepmother, Pat, and a stepfather, Bob when both her parents remarried. Beth married Park Anderson on August 12, 1977, at the Alex United Methodist church. Alex is where they made their home and though Beth worked various jobs through the years, she ultimately made it her life's work to be a homemaker and raise their three daughters, Nicole, Courtney, and Hailey.

Beth loved to craft, bead, sew, paint, and most of all, shop. She enjoyed being part of the Young Homemakers of Oklahoma in Alex while raising her girls and even taught folk art painting classes from time to time.  She spent her years as a second mom to many of her girls' friends and earned the title "Mama Beth" from some of them which was an accolade she wore with great pride. If you were one of hers, you would never leave a visit without a lipstick kiss on the cheek and a big I love you! She loved to make jewelry and give it to people as gifts and shop online for her family for any bargain she could find.

Beth gained three sons Nate, Shamar, and James when her daughters married and had four grandchildren, Kade, Brooklyn, Dru, and Parker, whom she loved more than she could express. Some of her favorite times were when she was able to be with all of her grandchildren at once and spent time doing craft projects with each of them. She doted on her grandkids and in her eyes, they were nearly perfect. Beth was a very generous woman who deeply loved her people, especially her family.

Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Park Anderson; parents, Patsy Quire and Jim Whitt; stepmom, Pat Whitt; grandparents; in-laws, Nadine and Charlie Anderson, and George Anderson; and brother, Jim Whitt.

Beth is survived by her daughters, Nicole Bauman, and husband, Nathan, Courtney Green and husband, Shamar, Hailey Dunn, and husband, James; grandchildren, Kade Bauman, Brooklyn Green, Dru, and Parker Anderson; sister Jana Whitt; brother, Joe Whitt and wife, April; sister-in-law, Phyllis Goyne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
