Reverend Benjamin Franklin Parker III, 81, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 13, 2018, in Oklahoma City, OK. Benjamin was born on July 18, 1936, to Benjamin "Frank" and Lola Parker in Healdton, OK.
Benjamin grew up in Healdton until he joined the United States Army in 1958. He married the love of his life, Margaret Ann, on June 16, 1967, in Healdton, OK. They spent the next 12 years traveling and ministering while in the military. Benjamin retired from the Air Force in 1979.
In 1979, they finally settled in Tuttle where he became the pastor of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Much of his adult life he was a full time pastor, with a full time job. Benjamin retired from the FAA around 2006 and continued to pastor until he retired from ministry in 2008.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Margaret.
He is survived by his three sons, Timothy and wife Jacqueline, of Yukon;
John, of Ada; and Carey, of Tuttle;
and four grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Kole and Grayce.
