Bear Nieto

Bear Nieto of Chickasha, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Chickasha at the age of 66.  He was born November 16, 1951 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Jesse and Phyllis (Martinez) Nieto Evans.

He has lived in Chickasha all his life and graduated from Chickasha High School.  He married Taquita Martin on June 29, 1979 in Chickasha.  He worked for Chisholm Trail Concrete for over 20 years as a dispatcher and had been driving an oil truck until May of 2017 when he retired due to his health.

Bear played softball, baseball, bowled and was an umpire for many years.  The newest addition to the family, his precious granddaughter Bryn, nicknamed "Kitty Kat", made his world feel complete, along with all of his babies.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Nieto and Phyllis Nieto Evans and Tommy Evans.

Bear is survived by his wife, Taquita Nieto;

Children: Bearren Nieto and his wife Jillian;
Brittanie Nieto;

Granddaughter, Bryn Nieto;

Sister, Mary Nieto;

Brothers: David Nieto,
Jesse Nieto,
Mark Nieto

And several nieces, nephews and other family members.
