Art D. Pendleton

Arthur D. Pendleton , of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 79.  He was born January 20, 1938 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Arthur and Agnes (Hutson) Pendleton.

Art worked for Aerojet General Corporation in California and retired in 1996 and moved to Chickasha.  He served in the U.S. Army.

He is preceded in death his wife, Peggy Pendleton in 2003; his parents; son, John Roy Carpenter two daughters, Ruby Jean Albright and Betty Marie Alders; brother, Cleo Pendleton and sister, Louise Pendleton

Art is survived by his daughter, Kathy Harris and husband, Clyde;

Eight grandchildren:  Roy Bogle, Jr, John Williams, Valerie Wood, Stephanie Snyder, Skeeter Harris, James Bogle, Mellissa Peery and Rebecca Robinson;

And many great-grandchildren;

Two sisters, Edith Biddle and Almeda Pendleton;

Brother, John Milton Pendleton.
