Anthony E. Hoebing

Funeral service for Anthony E. Hoebing, of Chickasha, OK will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2014 at Bible Baptist Church, Chickasha, OK. Anthony Edward "Tony" Hoebing was born January 2, 1943 in Chickasha, OK to Cyril Jacob and Ruth Alice (Trotter) Hoebing. He passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Chickasha at the age of 72. Tony graduated from Chickasha High School in 1961. He joined the United States Army in 1963 and served until 1969. Tony married Hellen Happner on December 17, 1966 in Dallas, Texas and to this union 5 children were born. He worked in the oilfield and later worked for Melton Motors. He and his dad owned and operated H & H Body Shop until 1992 when he went to work for Maremont until 2006. In 2008, he went to work at Walmart until December of 2014. He attended Bible Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Cyril Hoebing. Tony is survived by his wife, Hellen Hoebing of Chickasha, OK 4 sons: James Hoebing and his wife, Cherri, of Edmond, OK; Robert Hoebing and his wife, Kim, of Yukon, OK; Jason Hoebing of Chickasha, OK; David Hoebing of Chickasha, OK 1 daughter, Sarah Davis and her husband, Jon, of Yukon, OK 8 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Christopher, Alexis, Emily, Jessica, Jacee, Aleigha, and Abbi 1 brother, George Hoebing and his wife, Carol Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
