Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Anita Stidham was born in McClain County, Oklahoma, on April 4th, 1931, to James and Tommy (Julian) Wilson and died Monday, October 17th, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Her father was killed in 1935 when Anita was only 4 years old and in 1936 her mother moved the family to Hawkins Community North of Alex where she attended Hawkins Grade School and then Alex High School. In 1948, Anita met and married Jack Stidham they then moved to Chickasha where they raised their 2 sons, Ronnie and Jackie Stidham.
In 1958, she and Jack started their own horse trailer business and enjoyed running it with their sons until they retired. She enjoyed playing the piano, going shopping with her friends, and adding to her Hallmark collections. She also loved traveling all over the U.S. delivering horse trailers and watching her husband play music. Anita has always loved collecting various collectibles; she has always decorated her back room for every holiday. She always loved spending time with all her family and friends. Anita was a lifelong Christian and loved the Lord.
Anita was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, and siblings; James De Arthur, Tom Reece, J.E., Naomi and Joyce.
She is survived by her 2 sons Ronnie and wife Marcia, Jackie, and wife, Brenda. 4 Grandsons: Robbie, Brian, Dustin, and Derek. 5 Great Grandsons: Logan, Mason, Austin, Layne, and Cason. 3 Great Granddaughters: Kaitlyn, Carly, and Jacquelyn. 1 Great Great Grandson: Sebastian. 2 Great Great Granddaughters: Myleigh and Hadley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
