Alyce Faye Miracle (Chambers) passed away on August 23, 2022. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who showed tremendous courage, facing years of serious medical issues with a tireless positive attitude and smile.
She was born to Leo and Jane Chambers on February 8, 1938, and was the second oldest of 6 siblings (Ada Elizabeth, Frances, Carol Jo, Martha Jane, and Jack). Alyce met the love of her life, William T. "Bill" Miracle, while she was attending postsecondary school in New Mexico. The two quickly fell in love and became inseparable. Bill's 20 years of military service would take them around the world and through countless moves, which only served to strengthen their bond. Together they raised 4 sons: Scott, Andy, Wayne, and Alan.
Alyce was a devout Christian, always finding strength in her Lord during trying times and never passing up a moment to be thankful. She took immense pride in raising young men who grew to become loving husbands and great fathers. She loved doting on her 3 daughters-in-law and never missed an opportunity to brag about her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 46 years (3-16-2006) and by her son, Scott (8-18-1977). Those she touched through her kindness, joy, and unwavering faith were truly blessed. She will be deeply missed.
A ceremony will be held at Sevier Funeral Home, 702 W. Chickasha Avenue, Chickasha Oklahoma, at Noon CST on Saturday, September 24, 2022. The family will welcome guests in fellowship starting at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her honor to Relay for Life (The American Cancer Society).
