Allen L. Byfield was born May 10, 1938 at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. He was the son
of Otis and Jennie (Lasater) Byfield. He died Wednesday, November 25, 2015
in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years.
He and Thelma Dean were married February 17, 1956 at Fort Gibson. She preceded him in death October 1, 2000.
Mr. Byfield lived in the Chickasha and Verden area. He had worked at the 21 ranch, 19th Seed Company and in the oilfield. He moved to Muskogee and worked as a bus mechanic for the Muskogee Public Schools.
He loved to fish and watch western movies with John Wayne.
One son, Roger Allen Byfield; his parents; and thirteen brothers and sisters also preceded him in death.
