Alberta Ann (Trent) Holley, 69, of Tuttle, OK passed away on October 18, 2017
Alberta was born March 28, 1948 in Lookeba, OK, soon after she was adopted by Rev. Albert T. and Anna B. Trent of Hammon, OK. Her early childhood was spent living in Hammon then moved to Elk City where she attended school.
In August of 1963, Alberta married Jerry Holley and they had 2 children. In 1983, she began her teaching career in Canute, OK. Alberta moved to Oklahoma City in 1993 and taught in both the Oklahoma City School system and Western Heights School system.
In 2004, Alberta moved to Tuttle and lived until her passing. The last few years she worked at the Tuttle Senior Citizens Center.
Alberta grew up singing and playing the piano in church, she loved music. She was an avid sports fan, loving football, baseball and basketball.
The one thing Alberta enjoyed most was being "Granny", not only to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but to all of her friends. Everyone knew her as "Granny".
Survivors include one daughter, Meshelle Eaves and son-in-law, Randy Burris of Tuttle, OK;
3 grandchildren: Tania Eaves of Tuttle, OK;
Melodi Hubbard of Edmond, OK;
and Tiphanie and Ben Pelly of Piedmont, OK.
